Further Update
Although the property market has been released from lockdown, we would like to reassure you that we will still be adhering to the Government guidelines and continuing to work remotely from home in order to ensure the safety of our staff, our clients and the wider community. We will only return to our offices when we are satisfied that we can offer a safe environment in which to work and see clients. In the meantime we will be maintaining our professional service and you can contact us on our office number, by fax or email in the usual way.
Coronavirus Update
We have noticed that certain other firms have furloughed some of their lawyers which has meant work being handled by more junior staff.
We wish to assure our clients that we are not placing any of our lawyers on furlough and that your matter will continue to be dealt with by the same designated person.
We believe strongly in putting our clients’ needs first and are committed to maintaining our standards and providing a professional service to all our clients.
As far as our residential (and commercial) conveyancing transactions are concerned, we continue to process these and whilst exchange of contracts and completion may be placed on hold in relation to certain transactions, we are still completing those where there is no chain involved, where the property is vacant or where the transaction involves the sale or purchase of an investment property with a tenant already in situ.
Coronavirus Notice
We wish to reassure our clients, colleagues and contacts that during this enforced period of lockdown Beverley Morris & Co. will remain open for business and we will continue to provide our usual service to our clients insofar as it is possible to do so. We have implemented systems which will allow our staff to work from home and for transactions to be delivered remotely where possible.
During this difficult period, it will still be possible to contact our lawyers and this can be done by email in the first instance. Face to face contact is impractical in line with the Government’s advice. However, we encourage the use of other means of communication, such as via email, telephone and video conferencing.
Our main switchboard telephone number 020 8852 4433 will continue to be operational but on a limited basis. If the line is busy please hang up and try again a few minutes later. Alternatively email the person dealing with your matter requesting a call back and we will endeavour to respond as soon as possible. General enquiries may still be submitted to enquiries@beverleymorris.co.uk in the normal way.
If you are unable to reach your lawyer, or require any further assistance, please contact one or all of the following people:
- Commercial Property
